Por Americo Teixeira Jr. – Quando o promotor Bud Denker assumiu a tarefa de realizar o Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix, realizado no domingo passado no estado de Michigan (USA), pôde contar com voluntários que colaboraram nas diversas etapas do evento. Formaram um exército de 1150 homens e mulheres, que passaram três dias inteiros dedicados a receber os membros do IZOD IndyCar Series da melhor forma possível.
Destacaram-se pela eficiência, gentileza e capacidade para unir esforços para resolver todas as questões relativas a um evento dessa magnitude. Nesta quinta, 7, com todo merecimento, uma festa está sendo realizada em homenagem a eles, que ajudaram a plantar o desejo de voltar em todos os que estiveram em Detroit.
