Helio Castroneves lived a difficult time in the Honda Indy Toronto Grand Prix, nineth round of the IZOD IndyCar Series, held on Sunday 10 in Toronto, Canada. Despite to start in 12th place, the driver of the Team Penske had a good performance and winning positions, but an accident in the 30th lap with the Canadian Alex Tagliani (Sam Schimdt Motorsports) forced him to miss four laps in the pit. Back on track, Castroneves finished the race in the 17th position.

“It was a tough race today. I want to apologize to my team and especially to Alex Tagliani. He and I were both driving hard, and although I tried to avoid him, we got together. I really feel bad for him and the No. 3 car guys. This place is all about staying out of trouble and I just didn’t do that today. The Penske Truck Rental car was really fast and we were running a good strategy, but I made a mistake”, said Castroneves.
