By Americo Teixeira Jr. – Helio Castroneves’ fans, from now on, can count on a unique channel of information and interaction with the driver of Team Penske. Developed by UP3 Group and licensed by Apple, this is the official Helio Castroneves iPhone app.
“By installing free on your iPhone, the fan has access to photos, calendar, updated championship scores and will be able to interact with Helio by Facebook, Twitter and Instagram,” said Eduardo Assola, director of UP3, company located in Miami and responsible for development of software and digital platforms of entertainment, information and services, including the website and social media channels of Helio Castroneves.
Castroneves followed closely the creative process and could give his opinions in many ways, based on his experience of constant interaction with fans. “It came out really cool and I’m sure fans worldwide will enjoy a lot,” said the driver, highlighting the fact that the work was approved by Apple. “We thought on a very interesting tool to the iPhone user, and that goal was achieved just in time for the new 2013 season” said the driver of the Chevrolet Dallara DW12 #3 Indycar.
