The Brazilian driver of the Team Penske will accelerate in the streets of Surfer’s Paradise between 23 and 24 October

(Saturday, 16 OCT 2010) – Helio Castroneves, star driver of the Team Penske Indycar, will arrive in this Sunday, 17, in Austrália. He is participator of the ARMOR ALL GOLD COAST 600, in the next Satuday, 23, and Sunday, 24. The race is the V8 Supercars Championship Series, the australian Stock Car.
Castroneves will be the only Brazilian driver in this event and He is in the group of the 18 international drivers specially invited for running in the Street of Surfer’s Paradise. Besides Castroneves, the group has Alan Menu, Alex Tagliani, Andy Priaulx, Dario Franchitti, David Brabham, Fabrizio Giovanardi, Gianni Morbidelli, Jacques Villeneuve, Mika Salo, Patrick Long, Ryan Briscoe, Scott Dixon, Scott Pruett, Sebastien Bourdais, Tiago Monteiro, Will Power e Yvan Muller.
“I’m very excited with this experience. I loved the invite and Will be a great race!”, said he. Each driver will a member of the V8 Supercars Championship Series teams and Castroneves will compete for the Wilson Security Racing, on board Ford Falcon FG.
